Today, Mom and I had a full-on “craft genius” session at the kitchen table. Tiny wooden squares lined up like little soldiers, surrounded by piles of colorful paper.
“I’ll make the pumpkin!” I declared, and Mom immediately claimed the snowman. Whenever our scissors went a little crooked, we’d just laugh and say, “It’s a design choice!” We even had a near-disaster moment when my fingers almost got glued together.
When we finally finished, it felt like we’d set up our own mini art gallery—snowman, pumpkin, tree, quilt patterns, and more, each holding a piece of our laughter. This winter, I’m hanging these cards up so I can replay that afternoon with Mom, giggles and all.
